Corporate Social Responsibility is important for the continuity of our company and the continuity of sustainable relationships with our employees, customers, suppliers and society.
Early 2017, BRB International decided to classify Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a strategic focus area within the company objectives to show our business partners that sustainability and taking social responsibility is important to BRB. Since then, sustainability is a point of attention within the organization. It is safe to say that CSR has become a standard part of the discussion when talking about investments.
In 2018 the CSR team initiated several actions to improve our footprint and to better understand the impact of the organization on sustainability aspects. Last year, the CSR team continued initiating these actions and was able to start several long-term actions based on the employee satisfaction survey that was held at the end of 2018. In addition, the CSR impact of our suppliers is taken into account in our selection and assessment process.
