This additive significantly lowers surface tension, enhancing substrate wetting performance. It demonstrates hydrolytic stability and can be used effectively within a pH range of 4 to 10 without noticeable degradation of surface tension.

BRB Siloen^® WA 264 is especially well-suited for systems that do not contain co-solvents. It has minimal to no foam stabilization and does not interfere with intercoat adhesion (recoatability). Besides this, it does not increase surface slip.

Compliant with Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) regulations, BRB Siloen^® WA 264 contains less than 0.1% of Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4), Cyclopentasiloxane (D5) and Cyclohexasiloxane (D6) respectively.
